Launched in 2019 by Casino Luxembourg - Forum d'art contemporain in collaboration with the University of Luxembourg, Forum arts, médias et société is a platform for understanding and discussing key issues that go beyond simple contemporary creation.
Season 1, entitled "Penser l'écran", consisted in a cycle of lessons and monthly meetings, that took place from October to March, structured with the aim of "going around the question". Once a month, an international specialist was invited to Casino Luxembourg to discover a specific facet of the subject.
In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Forum arts, médias et société is organising for its second season (October 2020-March 2021) a cycle of videoconferences only. The topic will encourage us to (re)think about images and the relationship between visual languages and news.
