Over the course of this afternoon, the Federation of Animation Professions and Virtual Images (FMAIV – Fédération des métiers de l’animation et de l’image virtuelle) will introduce several of the professions present in Luxembourg’s vibrant and globally renowned animation sector. Participants will get to meet several animators and directors from local studios who are going to present their craft and projects they are currently involved in.

The Fédération des métiers de l’animation et de l’image virtuelle

The Federation was founded in 2015 to defend and promote the animation and virtual images sector in Luxembourg and abroad. Through meetings, talks and training courses, the federation equips its members with new skills, and supports the sector to be as efficient and organised as possible. The federation aims to develop a sector that promotes high quality work and whose professionals, artists and technicians are listened to and encouraged. As a growing field of economic and cultural activity, the federation believes it’s important to develop the talents and opportunities that contribute to Luxembourg’s international renown for excellent animated productions.
