Since its first edition in 2001, Nuit des Musées has become the unmissable annual event for culture and heritage enthusiasts in Luxembourg City.For a night, visit or revisit the museums of the capital and let yourself be surprised by our program: guided and illuminated tours, workshops, screenings, tastings, live shows, exceptional entertainment and DJ sets will give life to a a museum experience that is both friendly and fun.This 19th edition is under the theme "Museums - be moved", highlighting the opening of museums to any movement: physical, emotional and intellectual.THE PROGRAM AT CASINO LUXEMBOURG:

FAVORITES: HONOURING SPORT IN LUXEMBOURGThe 19th edition of the Nuit des Musées is under the theme "Museums - be moved"; museums being platforms open to any movement: physically, emotionally and intellectually. Linked to this theme, the traditional "coup de coeur" visits will be presented by Luxembourg athletes.Seven of which come from different sports disciplines will take over the role of guides and offer visitors a tour of a chosen work in one of the seven museums. At the Casino, this role will be played by a chess player: Claude Wagener.

Born in 1976 in Luxembourg, Claude Wagener is a chess player and professor of physics at the Lycée Technique pour Professions de santé in Luxembourg. In 2000, he became an individual chess champion in Luxembourg. He has so far participated in seven chess Olympiads and three European Nations Championships in the national team. Every visitor can get involved in a great installation of origami as a work in progress in the "Aquarium"! Through red, green and blue highlights, a multicolored environment will gradually emerge around paper creations.
