Susi Krautgartner

The photographs of Susi Krautgartner, entitled Uncanny Valley, displayed in the framework of the exhibition, Second Lives, Jeux masqués et autres Je, show self-portraits with stereotypical representations of women. The artist’s main intention was to study the Uncanny Valley Effect, which is about negative emotions that we feel when we see near-perfect people.
