Curator visits

It is important for an institution such as the Casino Luxembourg to promote the local art scene internationally.

The Casino Luxembourg regularly informs artists about artists' residencies, grants and international competitions.

In Luxembourg, art professionals generally only make brief visits, whether it be to attend a preview, or a speech in a conference setting. It is rare for them to stay any longer. From this observation the idea was born to annually bring a few international curators together in Luxembourg, over a weekend. The aim, through a series of workshops and current exhibition visits, and presentations of local artists' dossiers, is for them to discover the multiplicity of Luxembourgish artistic creation.
