The inaugural exhibition which marks this new chapter is an installation by the Luxembourgish stage designer Marie-Luce Theis. In cooperation with the Berlin-based filmmaker Anne Braun, she will develop an exhibition concept using various techniques of media-based and theatrical storytelling. Theis' work goes in search of traces of the past and the history/ies of this enigmatic space in Rue de la Loge.

TRIENNIALS

13.2.20 – 31.5.2020

with Guillaume Barborini, Paul Heintz, Rémy Laporte, Marina Smorodinova, Marc Buchy, Marie-Luce Theis, Jérôme Knebusch

In the run-up to the 5th Triennale Jeune Création, which will be held in the summer of 2020, the Rotondes, Casino Luxembourg and the Cercle Cité are reconnecting with artists who have distinguished themselves in previous editions. Conceived as a nod to the millennial generation (i.e. those born between 1980 and 1999), the Triennials programme is dedicated to artists from the Trienniale Generation who have meanwhile fully emerged. In a series of recent or specifically desined works shown across three exhibition venues, they continue to develop their artistic views on the world that surrounds them.
