Les Mardis des Artistes
The Casino Luxembourg offers Luxembourgish artists a platform from which to present their work to the public. Art displays are regularly organised in the framework of artists' portfolios in the InfoLab, to promote Luxembourgish artistic creation and for it to become better known.
During this evening, each artist or personality from the Luxembourgish or international cultural world, benefits from 10 to a maximum of 15 minutes to explain their artistic journey, show their work, reveal their favourite pieces or perform.
Artists' Tuesdays are an opportunity to present a few artists from the Luxembourgish cultural scene to the public.
The first Artists' Tuesday took place on 3 December 2013 with the artists, Martine Feipel & Jean Bechameil, Laurianne Bixhain, Deborah De Robertis, Serge Ecker and Eric Schockmel.
The conference was organised in collaboration with AICA Luxembourg:
- Karolina Markiewicz presented Pascal Piron
- Didier Damiani presented Mik Muhlen
- Paul di Felice presented Sophie Jung
- Lucien Kayser presented David Brognon (The Plug) & Stéphanie Rollin
- Nathalie Becker presented Christian Frantzen.
On 10 February 2015 Ainhoa Achutegui, Paul Ardenne and Karolina Markiewicz revealed their favourite pieces.
