The Venice Biennale
Since 1999, the ground floor of the Ca' del Duca, located at Corte del Duca Sforza in Venice, hosts the Luxembourg Pavilion as part of the Venice Biennale. Regular participation of our country in one of the most important European (or even global) events in the field of contemporary art ensures international artistic visibility and credibility for Luxembourg.
The organization and coordination of the Luxembourg participation in the Venice Biennale is provided by the Ministry of Culture in partnership with Casino Luxembourg and Mudam Luxembourg, who take it in turns. Thus, the 2017 and 2019 editions are coordinated by Casino Luxembourg - Forum d'art contemporain.
