ART LX Goes Vienna
The cycle of artist encounters, initiated by Luxembourg Casino under the title Artist Talks or Artists' Tuesdays, will take a new form from September 2018.
From now on, each meeting will be on the theme of a city or a country, and will bring together Luxembourg creatives (artists, designers, etc.) who have, for example, studied there, lived there at some point in their lives, participated in an artist's residency or who simply share experiences or memories in association with the place in question. The invited artists will have the opportunity to present their work (whether related to the place or not), debate with other creatives and, above all, meet the public.
Le cycle de rencontres d'artistes, initié par le Casino Luxembourg sous le titre Artist Talks ou Les Mardis des Artistes, prendra une nouvelle forme à partir de septembre 2018.
Désormais, chaque rencontre sera placée sous le thème d'une ville ou d'un pays, et réunira des créatifs luxembourgeois (artistes, designers, etc.) qui y ont, par exemple, fait leurs études, y ont vécu à un moment donné de leur vie, y ont participé à une résidence d'artiste ou, tout simplement, partagent des expériences ou des souvenirs en association avec le lieu en question. Les artistes invités auront ainsi l'occasion de présenter leur travail, en relation ou non avec ce lieu, de discuter avec d'autres créatifs et, surtout, de rencontrer le public.
The Austrian artist Christoph Meier's exhibition CCOOOO is the pretext to devote the first edition of this new cycle of artistic encounters to the city of Vienna, a city highly appreciated by Luxembourg students. Creatives of all types with a link to that city will be welcome at Casino Luxembourg - Saturday 08.09.2018 at 11 am.
