Charter of Ethics
Through their work and their projects, cultural structures work to safeguard and enrich our heritage, support artistic creation, disseminate culture, conduct research into the history of the arts, teach and educate the arts and culture, provide access to culture for all and promote the cultural influence of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The Ministry of Culture wished to support this dynamic by encouraging, through the publication of a Charter of Ethics, the establishment of a certain number of rules of good governance and good practice with which any structure receiving financial support from the Ministry of Culture must comply. Because of the public funding they receive and their role in society, all funded organisations are expected to adopt exemplary behaviour in their management and interactions with third parties.
